Eleanor's First Ikea Trip

We took a trip to Ikea with Eleanor this weekend.  Lots of fun!  She had a macaroni and cheese kid's meal for lunch while Andy and I had meatballs.  Then we did some shopping!

She also really liked the table with trains.  We bought one of these wooden train sets and she really loves taking apart the tracks we build.

Fall Fiber Festival 2012

This year was my third year at the festival, Andy's second, and Eleanor's first.  We decided to go on Saturday because it was sunny and in the 70s while Sunday would be in the 50s and rainy.

Eleanor got to see llamas, alpacas, angora rabbits, and sheep!

Although she was excited about all of the animals, she might have enjoyed playing in the grass the most.

I did lots of shopping and got my Christmas present early!  It's a Louet Julia spinning wheel!! I can't wait to start spinning with it and making my own yarn.

Eleanor liked playing with the spinning wheel.  Hopefully I can start her early and get her to spin for me.  ;)

We had a great time! The adventure and exploring makes for a very tired baby.

Welcome to the World, Sweet Baby!

Welcome to the world, Eleanor!  Mommy and Daddy love you so much!  She was born on December 11, 2011 at 5:56 a.m.  8 lbs, 2 ounces, and 21 inches long.

It's gone so quickly!!  Hard to believe that we had just found out I was pregnant this time last year.  Amazing what can happen in that time frame.  :)

Embarking on our next Great Adventure

Cruise - Day 7: Day at Sea

Our last day at sea on the way home!  This was my absolute favorite towel animal.

We got to sail through Tropical Storm Paula on the way home.  Not so much fun, but there were some really impressive clouds.

The last performance of the week featured guests of the cruise signing as legendary performers.  Here's us with Gloria Estefan and Elvis.  (I think I'm getting in trouble for this one.)

We had a fantastic time!!
